“Periodt” gives that emphasis that “period” suggests but does not deliver. Putting a period at the end of your thoughts is powerful. Saying “period” to end a conversation is powerful. What’s even more powerful? Periodt. That added “t” makes it reminiscent of a semantic mic drop.
