Ghislaine Maxwell, the alleged former madam of Jeffrey Epstein’s pedophile ring, has finally been arrested.

Maxwell was taken into custody by the FBI the morning of Thursday, July 2nd, in New Hampshire. She will be arraigned on four charges of enticing minors to travel and engage in sexual acts between 1994 and 1997, as well as lying under oath. Despite the timeframe of the charges, Maxwell has been accused of working with Epstein until his arrest in 2019. It will take time for more charges to be filed based on the evidence.

Ghislaine Maxwell was the longtime girlfriend of billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein, allegedly procuring teenage girls for Epstein and his elite friends and associates. Most notable are Prince Andrew, President Bill Clinton, and lawyer Alan Dershowitz, among many others. She was also a major point of interest in the Netflix mini-series, Filthy Rich, about Epstein’s pedophile cartel.

Following Epstein’s arrest nearly a year ago on July 6, 2019, Ghislaine Maxwell seemingly dropped off the face of the Earth. Rumors of her popping up all over the world have been reported over the last year, including one that she was being protected by ex-Navy Seal security guards. Soon after Epstein’s alleged suicide, a picture of Maxwell at a California In-n-Out Burger reading a book about CIA operatives began to circulate, although many detractors believe these photos were photo-shopped.

The FBI has reportedly known about Maxwell’s location as early as November 2019 and have since been building their case against her.

In March of this year, Ghislaine Maxwell sued the estate of the dead billionaire, looking for reimbursement on legal fees and security costs due to a slew of credible death threats. In the lawsuit, Maxwell claims that Epstein promised to provide for her financially on multiple occasions. Despite this, Maxwell also claims to have “no knowledge involvement in or knowledge of” Epstein’s alleged misconduct. Epstein’s estate is valued around $636 million.

Robert Maxwell, Ghislaine’s father, was a British media tycoon and convicted fraudster with ties to British MI6, Soviet KGB, and Israeli Mossad intelligence agencies. Following his mysterious death in 1991, Maxwell was given a hero’s funeral in Israel, furthering the allegations that he was working as a Mossad spy in the UK.

It is believed by many that both Ghislaine and Epstein were intelligence assets of the Mossad and possibly the CIA, based on Robert’s past involvement in the intelligence community. These accusations were further explored following Epstein’s arrest and subsequent death in custody.

For those following the case closely, the biggest concern is that Ghislaine Maxwell survives long enough to stand trial. Evidence surrounding Epstein’s death while in custody at MCC in Manhattan last year came under intense scrutiny.  While ruled a suicide, many believe Epstein was either allowed to kill himself, or that he did not kill himself at all.
