TikTokers Apparently Think Yoga Pants are Flared Leggings

I’m really not sure why but this one has me a little bit angry: TikTok has recently revealed yoga pants as a fun new discovery. Worse yet, some are referring to them as “vintage.” You know, the ones from the 2010s with the printed waistbands?

Yeah, those.

Not only are yoga pants a new discovery for some — which admittedly makes me feel a little old — but the fact that yoga pants are potentially coming back is kind of worrisome for me. I was really hoping they’d stay in the past where they belong.

This new phenomenon was brought to my attention by this tweet:

I acknowledge that I probably sound like a bit of a boomer here, but I’m just a bit shocked that these are coming back to haunt us. They’re totally comfy, I get it, but I just don’t know how to feel about seeing those flashy waistbands come back. I’m even more horrified because if they get trendy enough, I’ll probably buy a pair. This is no good, but at least the ultra low rise jeans of the early 2000s aren’t back yet.

He is surrounded by various forms he assumes by donning masks such as a Goron a large rock creature, a Deku a small wooden puppet like creature, and a Zora a lean blue fish man. Behind him Skull Kid, a forest imp wearing the Majora's Mask, dances, silhouetted by a large yellow full moon.
